The brand’s juno carrier won gold against four other well known juvenile brands in the ‘best baby carrier’ category.
Chief Executive, Campbell Gower, says juno showcases outstanding innovation, leading performance and first-class engineering.
“We’re chuffed, to once again, be recognised as one of the world’s best in design. Since its beginnings, our brand has captured the essence of freedom with its undisputed reputation for performance, quality and strength.
“We pride ourselves on developing products that deliver superior form and function, while also maintaining a creative, fashion forward style that really sets us apart.”
The Junior Design Awards have been presented for six years – the event is organised by popular UK lifestyle online platform, Junior.
In total, 55 category winners were selected by a panel of Junior judges, together with a board of industry experts. These included key influencers from around the country such as Jenny Scott, founder of Mothers Meeting - a social hub for mums with entrepreneurial ambitions and identities.
Judges applauded the juno carrier: “We loved the [hands through connection] pouch on the Mountain Buggy juno that enables you to slip your hands through in a natural embracing position providing an extra sense of connection between parent and child. The sling is super sturdy with wide comfortable straps, lots of head support and weight is evenly distributed on the hips and shoulders making sure your back isn’t under strain. An excellent piece of kit!”
Mr Gower hopes the recent gold award will continue to highlight Mountain Buggy as the baby brand of first choice for consumers.
“We’ve been designing innovative and award-winning products for over 20 years. Our iconic Kiwi brand pioneered all terrain and enables parents all around the world to live life without limit. That in itself is gold.”
